Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French dystopian thriller Dog 51 (Chien 51). The album features the film’s original music composed by Guillaume Roussel (Black Beauty, The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan & MiladyThe Spy, 3 Days to Kill, November, Marie Antoinette, Happy!). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Dog 51 is co-written and directed by Cédric Jimenez and stars Gilles Lellouche, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Louis Garrel, Romain Duris, Valeria Bruni Tedeschi and Artus. The movie is set in a near-future Paris after the inventor of an omnipresent AI is found dead and follows two unlikely cops who are paired together to get to the root of the mystery. The thriller premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival and is opening in French theaters today. No word yet on a domestic release.
