Jeff Cardoni (Silicon Valley, White House PlumbersHeels, The Kominsky Method, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, The Franchise, CSI: MiamiJust Friends) has recently scored the upcoming Netflix original film A Merry Little Ex-Mas. The movie is directed by Steve Carr (Daddy Day Care, Paul Blart: Mall Cop) and stars Alicia Silverstone, Oliver Hudson, Melissa Joan Hart, Jameela Jamil and Pierson Fode. The romantic comedy revolves around a recently divorced woman who is determined to pull off one last perfect family holiday before selling her beloved home, but her holiday dream spirals into chaos when her ex-husband shows up with his younger, picture-perfect new girlfriend. Holly Hester (The Royal Treatment) wrote the screenplay. Melissa Joan & Paul Hart (Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Melissa & Joey) are producing the project for their Hartbreak Films production company. Cardoni has previously collaborated with Carr on 2016’s Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life. A Merry Little Ex-Mas will premiere on November 12, 2025 exclusively on Netflix.

Cardoni’s other recent feature projects include Luke Greenfield’s Playdate (to premiere on November 12 on Prime Video). He also continues to score CBS’ Ghosts, which will return for its fifth season his hurday, October 16 and and Netflix’s Ransom Canyon, which will return for a second season.
