The full details of the soundtrack album for the HBO limited series Task have been revealed. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Daan Deacon (Venom: The Last Dance, Hustle, The Changeling, Ascension, Rez Ball, em>All Light, Everywhere, Twixt). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 17 by Lakeshore Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (One Coin) from the composer’s score has already been released as a digital single last month. Task is created by Brad Inglesby and stars Mark Ruffalo, Tom Pelphrey, Emilia Jones, Sam Keeley, Raúl Castillo, Jamie McShane, Thuso Mbedu, Alison Oliver, Silvia Dionicio, Fabien Frankel, Phoebe Fox and Martha Plimpton. The 7-part crime drama follows an FBI agent who heads a task force to put an end to a string of violent robberies led by an unsuspecting family man. The series currently airs every Sunday night on HBO and is also available to stream on HBO Max.
