Netflix Music has released a soundtrack EP for the streamer’s original film Ruth & Boaz. The 5-track EP features the songs from the movie performed by lead actress Serayah (who stars in the title of Ruth), including a cover of the gospel classic Goodness of God (performed alongside Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds). Also included is Prayer for Your Journey written by DeVon Franklin (who also serves as a producer on the film) & Brett Nolan and performed by Franklin & K-CI. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The label has previously released the original end credits song Faithful as a digital single last week. Listen to the other four songs below. Ruth & Boaz is directed by Alanna Brown and also stars Tyler Lepley, Phylicia Rashad, Walnette Santiago, Gregory Alan Williams, Jermaine Dupri, James Lee Thomas, Nijah Brenea and Christopher Broughton. The faith-based romantic drama, which revolves around talented singer who leaves the Atlanta music scene and starts over in small-town Tennessee, is premiering today exclusively on Netflix.
