Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Long Walk. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jeremiah Fraites (of the folk band The Lumineers) who has made his feature scoring debut on the project. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, September 12 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Fraites’ title track is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below. The Long Walk is directed by Francis Lawrence and stars Cooper Hoffman, David Jonsson, Garrett Wareing, Charlie Plummer, Judy Greer, Tut Nyuot, Ben Wang, Jordan Gonzalez, Roman Griffin Davis,Joshua Odjick, Josh Hamilton and Mark Hamill. The movie based on Stephen King’s first-written novel is set in a dystopian America, in which 100 teenage boys embark on an annual competition, during which each participant must keep walking faster than four miles per hour or risk being eliminated. The thriller will be released in theaters nationwide on September 12 by Lionsgate.
