Composer Brocker Way (Death and Other Details) is reteaming with directors Chapman & Maclain Way on the new Netflix original documentary series America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys. The show produced by Skydance Sports in association with NFL Films and Stardust Frames Productions explores the controversies that defined the Dallas Cowboys and led them to three Super Bowl championships. The 8-parter features interviews with Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, Emmitt Smith, Jimmy Johnson, Deion Sanders, Barry Switzer, among others. Chapman & Maclain Way directed all episodes and are also executive producing the project with David Ellison (Top Gun: Maverick, Mission: Impossible – Fallout), Jesse Sisgold & Jon Weinbach (Air),, Jessica Boddy, Ross Ketover, Ken Rodgers & Keith Cossrow (Quarterback) and John Skipper. Brocker Way has previously scored the documentarians’  TV shows Wild Wild CountryUntold & The Kings of Tupelo and the feature The Battered Bastards of Baseball. America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys will premiere next Tuesday, August 19 exclusively on Netflix.
