The World Soundtrack Academy has announced the nominees for the 2025 World Soundtrack Awards in the categories of Film Composer of the Year, Television Composer of the Year and Best Original Song. The winners will be announced at the 25th World Soundtrack Awards ceremony, which will take place on October 15, 2025 at Music Centre De Bijloke during Film Fest Gent. Philip Glass & Michael Nyman have previously been announced to receive Lifetime Achievement Awards. The rest of the nominations will be revealed on September 4.
