Dragon’s Domain Records has released the first-ever soundtrack for the 1979 British war action drama The Passage directed by J. Lee Thompson and starring Anthony Quinn, James Mason, Malcolm McDowell and Patricia Neal. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Michael J. Lewis (Sphinx, Theatre of Blood, The Medusa Touch, The Naked Face). The soundtrack was released digitally on the label’s official website this past May and is now also available on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Into Action) below. The Passage is now available on VOD and DVD.
Also being released digitally today are the label’s recent soundtracks (previously released on CD) for The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich & Return from the River Kwai (music by Lalo Schifrin), Battle of Neretva (music by Bernard Herrmann) and Too Late the Hero (music by Gerald Fried).
