Director Zach Cregger (Barbarian) has made his feature scoring debut on his upcoming horror thriller Weapons. He has composed the  score, alongside Ryan Holladay & Hays Holladay (Class Action Park), for the film written and directed by himself and starring Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Benedict Wong, Cary Christopher and Amy Madigan. The movie follows follows a small community after all but one child mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time. Cregger is also producing the New Line Cinema production with Roy Lee (A Minecraft Movie, The LEGO Movie), Miri Yoon (Don’t Worry Darling, Woman of the Hour), J.D. Lifshitz & Raphael Margules (Companion, Becky). The Holladay Brothers have previously contributed several cues to Cregger’s solo directorial debut, Barbarian, which was scored by Anna Drubich. Weapons will be released in theaters nationwide on August 8, 2025 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
