Cineverse announced today that the composer trio of Blitz//Berlin (PG: Psycho Goreman, Day of the Dead, Still/Born, Night Shift, Extraterrestrial, Frankie Freako, It Stains the Sands Red) are set to score the upcoming reboot of the holiday horror cult classic Silent Night, Deadly Night. The film is written and directed by Mike P. Nelson (Wrong Turn, The Domestics) and stars Ruby Modine, Rohan Campbell, Mark Acheson, David Lawrence Brown and David Tomlinson. The movie reimagines the original 1984 classic (scored by Perry Botkin, Jr.) in which a young boy witnesses the murder of his parents at the hands of a man dressed as Santa, only to grow up and become a killer himself. Scott Schneid & Dennis Whitehead who served as producers on vhe original are producing the project with New Dimension’s Jamie R. Thompson (Gunslingers), Rebel 6’s Erik Bernard (Artik), and White Bear Films’ Jeremy Torrie. Silent Night, Deadly Night just started of production today in Winnipeg, Manitoba and is set to be released in theaters nationwide on December 12, 2025 by Cineverse.
