Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, 300, John Wick, Deadpool 2, Watchmen, Atomic Blonde, X, Dawn of the Dead) has teamed up with Joanne Higginbottom (Criminal Minds: Evolution, The Public) to score the upcoming Netflix original animated film Fixed. The movie is directed by Genndy Tartakovsky (Hotel Transylvania, Samurai Jack) and features the voices of Adam Devine, Kathryn Hahn, Idris Elba, Bobby Moynihan, Fred Armisen, River Gallo, Beck Bennett and Michelle Buteau. The adult animated comedy revolves arouna an average, all-around good dog who discovers he’s going to be neutered in the morning and realizes he needs one last adventure with his pack of best friends as these are the last 24 hours with his balls. Tartakovsky also cowrote the screenplay with Jon Vitti (Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Anrgy Bird Movie). Michelle Murdocca (Open Season) is producing the Sony Pictures Animation production. Bates & Higginbottom have previously collaborated with on the TV shows Primal, Unicorn: Warriors Eternal and the final season of Samurai Jack. Fixed will premiere on August 13, exclusively on Netflix.
Bates & Higginbottom also continue to co-score CBS’ Tracker and Paramount+’s Criminal Minds Evolution, which have both been renewed for new seasons.
