Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, The Outsider, Enemy, Speak No Evil, The White Tiger, The Gift, Boy Erased, The Staircase, Tokyo Vice) have been tapped to compose music for the upcoming Netflix animated series Splinter Cell: Deathwatch. The show based on the Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell espionage video game franchise is directed by Guillaume Dousse & Félicien Colmet-Daage and stars Liev Schreiber as Sam Fisher, a black ops agent working for the US government division “The Fourth Echelon.” Derek Kolstad (John Wick, Nobody) serves as the project’s head writer. He is also executive producing the Ubisoft Film & Television production with Hélène Juguet, Hugo Revon and Gérard Guillemot (Mythic Quest). Sun Creature and Fost are the animation studios. A “work in progress” presentation of Splinter Cell: Deathwatch will be held at this year’s Annecy International Animation Festival and the show is expected to premiere in late 2025 or 2026 on Netflix.
Bensi & Jurriaans are also expected to return to score the second season of Apple TV+’s Presumed Innocent and the third season of Paramount+’s Tulsa King.
