Premiering on Wednesday, April 16, in the U.S. is the British limited series Towards Zero written by Rachel Bennette based on Agatha Christie’s novel, directed by Sam Yates and starring Anjelica Huston, Matthew Rhys, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Ella Lily Hyland, Clarke Peters, Mimi Keene, Anjana Vasan, Jack Farthing, Grace Doherty, Jackie Clune, Khalil Gharbia and Adam Hugill. The show’s original music is composed by Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Wicked Little Letters, Emma,Vita & Virginia, The Phantom of the Open, Three Women) and Benji Merrison & Will Slater (Dynasties, The Green Planet). Also premiering on Wednesday is the Apple TV+ original series Government Cheese created by Paul Hunter & Aeysha Carr and starring David Oyelowo, Simone Missick, Bokeem Woodbine, Jahi Di’Allo Winston, Julien Heron, Louis Cancelmi, Evan Ellison, Jeremy Bobb, Thomas Beaudoin, Louis Ferreira, Djilali Rez-Kallah, Kyle Mac, John Ortiz and Adam Beach. Siddhartha Khosla (Only Murders in the Building, This Is Us, Paradise, The Idea of You, Welcome to Chippendales, Rabbit Hole) and Alan DeMoss have composed the show’s original score. Premiering on Thursday, April 17 is the Netflix original series Ransom Canyon created by April Blair and starring Josh Duhamel, Minka Kelly, Eoin Macken, James Brolin, Lizzy Greene, Garrett Wareing, Andrew Liner, Marianly Tejada and Jack Schumacher. The show’s original music is composed by Jeff Cardoni (Silicon Valley, White House Plumbers, Ghosts, The Kominsky Method, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, Heels, CSI: Miami, Just Friends). Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday.
