Cristobal Tapia de Veer (Smile, Utopia, Babygirl, The Girl with All the Gifts, National Treasure, The Third Day) has confirmed that there will be no soundtrack release for third season of the HBO original series The White Lotus following his departure from the show due to creative differences with creator Mike White. WaterTower Music has released the composer’s main title theme from Season 3 this past February and two full soundtrack albums for his Emmy Award-winning scores from Season 1 and Season 2. Instead of a new soundtrack release, the label has published two four-hour soundscapes (Ocean Ambience – 4 Hours of Gentle Waves for Deep Relaxation & Evening Ambience – 4 Hours by the Fire Pit for Calm and Contemplation) following the debut on the season finale this past Sunday. The White Lotus is created by Mike White and stars Walton Goggins, Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Michelle Monaghan, Jason Isaacs, Natasha Rothwell, Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Catherine Hook, Lalisa Manobal, Sam Nivola, Tayme Thapthimthong, Lek Patravadi and Aimee Lou Wood. The full third season of the series is now also available to stream on Max.
