Milan Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Austrian TV series Woman of the Dead (Totenfrau). The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Patrick Kirst (The Kissing Booth, Breaking Surface, Inherit the Viper, Grace Stirs Up Success). Also included are songs performed by Vera Weber and Hayal Kaya (who also appears in the series). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 4 and is now available for preorder on Amazon. A first track (Weber’s Rosebud) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. The label has previously released an album featuring Kirst’s score from Season 1 back in 2022. Woman of the Dead is created by Barbara Stepansky, Benito Mueller & Wolfgang Mueller based on Bernhard Aichner’s novels and stars Anna Maria Mühe, Peter Kurth, Britta Hammelstein, Michou Friesz, Robert Palfrader, Yousef Sweid, Dominic Marcus Singer, Gerhard Liebmann, Sabine Timoteo and Lucas Gregorowicz. Season 2 of the mystery thriller premiered on Austrian television this past February and made its worldwide debut last month on Netflix.
