Cristobal Tapia de Veer has revealed in a recent interview with the New York Times that he won’t be returning to score the fourth season of the HBO original series The White Lotus, citing “creative differences” with the show’s creator Mike White. The composer has written the music for all episodes of the show (with Kim Neundorf receiving co-scoring credit on Season 2) and received three Emmy Awards for his main title theme from Season 1 and the scores from the first two seasons. The main title theme (Enlightenment) from Season 3 was released as a digital single this past February and the composer has recently published a longer version of the theme on his YouTube Channel (also listen to the track below). The final episode of Season 3 will premiere this Sunday, April 6 on HBO.
