Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the British sci-fi documentary 2073. The album features the film’s original music composed by Antonio Pinto (City of God, Lord of War, McFarland, USA, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, Amy, Nine Days, Flight Risk, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind) . The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 4 and will be available to stream/download on alll major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Children) below. 2073 is directed by Asif Kapadia and stars Samantha Morton, Naomi Ackie and Hector Hewer. The movie revolves around a survivor in the year 2073 besieged by nightmare visions of the past – a past that happens to be our present, visualized through real-life footage.. The docudrama, which premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival, was released in select U.S. theaters in December by Neon and is now available on VOD and Blu-ray.
