The full composer lineup for the seventh season of the Netflix anthology series Black Mirror has been revealed. Matthew Herbert (Disobedience, A Fantastic Woman, The Wonder, Gloria Bell, The Responder) & Lucinda Chua (Zona) have composed the music for the episode Euology directed by Chris Barrett & Luke Taylor, written by Charlie Brooker & Ella Road and starring Paul Giamatti & Patsy Ferran about an isolated man who is introduced to a groundbreaking system that allows its users to literally step inside old photographs. Ames Bessada (Black Mirror: Joan Is Awful, Astrid and Lilly Save the World, Holly Hobbie) has scored the episode Common People directed by Ally Pankiw (I Used to Be Funny), written by Brooker and starring Rashida Jones, Chris O’Dowd & Tracee Ellis Ross about a schoolteacher who is fighting for her life after a medical emergency and whose desperate husband Mike signs her up for Rivermind, a high-tech system that will keep her alive. Ariel Marx (Shiva Baby, Candy, A Small Light, Sanctuary, Happy Face, A Friend of the Family) has composed the score for the episode Hotel Reverie directed by Haolu Wang, written by Brooker and starring Issa Rae, Emma Corrin, Awkwafina & Harriet Walter about a high-tech, immersive remake of a vintage British film that sends a Hollywood A-list star into another dimension. As previously reported, Daniel Pemberton has scored two episodes (USS Callister: Into Infinity & Bête Noire) and Brian Reitzell has composed the music for the episode Plaything. Season 7 of Black Mirror will premiere on April 10 exclusively on Netflix.
