Fifth Season Music & Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV + original series Severance. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Theodore Shapiro (Tropic Thunder, The Devil Wears Prada, Bombshell, A Simple Favor, Destroyer, Ghostbusters, Wolfs, Marley & Me, Spies in Disguise) who received his first Emmy Award for his score from the first season. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 28 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen the composer’s “marching band” track The Ballad of Ambrose and Gunnel (feat. Brooklyn United) below. The labels have previously released an album featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 back in 2022. Severance is created by Dan Erickson, executive produced by Ben Stiller and stars Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, Tramell Tillman, Sarah Bock, Zach Cherry, Michael Chernus, Jen Tullock and Dichen Lachman. The final episode premiered last Friday and both seasons are now available to stream exclusively on Apple TV +. A third season is in the works.
