The full details of the soundtrack album for the fantasy adventure comedy A Minecraft Movie have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The LEGO Movie, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Croods: A New Age, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 21/22 Jump Street). Also included is the original song I Feel Alive by lead actor Jack Black (already out now as a digital single), several other tracks by Black, as well as songs by Bret McKenzie, Dirty Honey, Dayglow, BENEE and Jamieson Shaw. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 28 by WaterTower Music (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). A Minecraft Movie is directed by Jared Hess and also stars Jason Momoa, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Coolidge and Sebastian Eugene Hansen. The movie based on the hit video game follows four misfits as they are pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld: a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. The Legendary Pictures production will be released in theaters nationwide next Friday, April 4 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
