L’R Du Tresor has released the first-ever soundtrack album for the 2015 French romantic drama My King (Mon roi) co-written and directed by Maïwenn and starring Vincent Cassel, Emmanuelle Bercot and Louis Garell. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Stephen Warbeck (Shakespeare in Love, Billy Elliott, Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, Quills, Proof, Indian Summers) who received a Cesar Award nomination for his work on the project. My King premiered at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and opened in French theaters later that year. The movie was released in U.S. theaters the following year by Film Movement and is now available on VOD and DVD.
