Chanell Crichlow (My Fake Boyfriend, Fanatical: The Catfishing of Tegan and Sara, The Ringleader: The Case of the Bling Ring) has recently scored the upcoming Hulu original documentary Last Take: Rust and the Story of Halyna. The film is directed by Rachel Mason (Circus of Books, An Update on Our Family) and takes viewers inside the fateful day in 2021, when Alec Baldwin’s prop gun fired a live bullet on the set of the western Rust, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. The movie weaves together the accounts of those who were on the set that day and of those who are still navigating the trauma of the aftermath. Mason is also producing the Story Syndicate, Anonymous Content & Concordia Studio production with Julee Metz, Kate Barry (Manhunt, Children of the Underground), Jon Bardin (Sally), Will Cohen (Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie, he Mission) for Story Syndicate, Jessica Grimshaw & Nick Shumaker (War Game) and Jennifer Sears. Last Take: Rust and the Story of Halyna will premiere on March 11 exclusively on Hulu.
