Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album for the BBC drama Dope Girls. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by experimental vocalist & electronic artist collective NYX. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to NYX’s theme song after the jump. Dope Girls is created by Polly Stenham & Alex Warren based on the nonfiction book Dope Girls: The Birth of the British Drug Underground and stars Julianne Nicholson, Eilidh Fisher, Umi Myers, Eliza Scanlen, Geraldine James, Dustin Demri-Burns, Rory Fleck Bryne, Sebastian Croft, Ian Bonar, Michael Duke, Laura Checkley, Harry Cadby, Will Keen, Nabhaan Rizwan, Priya Kansara and Jordan Kouame. The 6-parter is set at the end of World War I and depicts the birth of the modern nightlife industry guided and gilded by hard fought female endeavor. The series premiered in the UK last week and currently airs every Saturday night on BBC One
