Music Super Circus has released a soundtrack album for the Swedish Netflix original series The Åre Murders (Åremorden). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jennie Löfgren & Anders Herrlin (Beck, Heder, For Better and Worse). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composers’ main theme after the jump. The Åre Murders is written by Karin Gidfors & Jimmy Lindgren based on Viveca Sten’s novels Hidden in Snow & Hidden in the Shadow)from the book series of the same name and stars Carla Sehn, Kardo Razzazi, Charlie Gustafsson, Pia Johansson, Francisco Sobrado, Maxida Märak, Cora Watson and Cecilia Forss. The crime drama directed by Joakim Eliasson & Alain Darborg revolves around a Stockholm detective under internal investigation who heads to a ski resort to unwind, until a young girl’s disappearance compels her back to work. The series premiered earlier this month and is now available to stream on Netflix.
