Christopher Tyng (Futurama, The O.C., Covert Affairs, Kazaam, Rescue Me) is returning to score the new NBC drama Suits LA. The show is created by Aaron Korsh and stars Stephen Amell, Lex Scott Davis, Josh McDermitt and Bryan Greenberg. The spinoff of USA’s original Suits series, which ran between 2011 and 2019, follows a former federal prosecutor from New York who has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles and – in order to survive – must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Korsh is also executive producing the UCP production with Doug Liman (he Bourne Identity, Edge of Tomorrow), David Bartis & Gene Klein (The Recruit, Nightflyers), Anton Cropper (Reasonable Doubt, L.A.’s Finest), Genevieve Sparling, Rick Muirragui (National Treasure: Edge of History) and Jon Cowan (Alert: Missing Persons Unit). Tyng has previously scored all episodes of the original Suits series and its first spinoff Pearson. Suits LA is premiering tonight on NBC and will also be available to stream on Peacock.
Tyng also continues to score Hulu’s Futurama, which will return for a tenth and eleventh season this and next year.
