Will Bates (Dumb Money, Immaculate, The Magicians, Unbelievable, Away, I Origins, The Path, Bliss, The Looming Tower) has provided the original score for the upcoming Netflix original film The Life List. The movie is written and directed by Adam Brooks (Definitely, Maybe, The Invisible Circus) and stars Sofia Carson, Kyle Allen, Connie Britton, Sebastian de Souza, José Zúñiga, Dario Ladani Sanchez, Jordi Mollá, Federico Rodriguez, Marianne Rendón and Michael Rowland. The romantic comedy drama is based on the novel of the same title by Lori Nelson Spielman and centers on a young woman who embarks on a journey of self-discovery at the request of her late mother and confronts her grief while finding the courage to live fully again. Liza Chasin (The Lost City, Stillwater) is producing the project. The Life List will premiere on March 28 exclusively on Netflix.
Bates’ recent projects also include the second season of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, which currently airs every Sunday on AMC and is also available to stream on AMC+.
