Federico Jusid (The Secret in Their Eyes, A Gentleman in Moscow, The English, Watership Down, The Head, MisconductLife Itself) is the composer of the upcoming Argentinian Netflix original series The Eternaut (El Eternauta). The show is created and directed by Bruno Stagnaro and stars Ricardo Darín, Carla Peterson, César Troncoso, Ariel Staltari, Andrea Pietra, Marcelo Subiotto, Orianna Cárdenas, Claudio Martínez Bel and Mora Fisz. The drama based on the graphic novel of the same title by Héctor G. Oesterheld & Francisco Solano López takes place after a deadly snowfall kills millions and follows a band of survivors who fight against an alien threat controlled by an invisible force. Hugo Sigman, Matías Mosteirin & Leticia Cristi (Wild Tales, The Kingdom) and Diego Copello are producing the K&S Films production. The Eternaut will premiere on April 30, 2025 on Netflix.

Jusid’s other recent projects include Steven Knight’s British Disney+/Hulu series A Thousand Blows, which premiered at last year’s BFI London Film Festival and will debut on February 21, the third and final season of HBO Asia’s The Head, which just finished its series run last week, as well as Peter Cattaneo’s feature The Penguin Lessons, which premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and will be released in U.S. theaters on March 28 by Sony Pictures Classics.
