Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the sports drama Unstoppable. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alexandre Desplat (The Shape of Water, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The King’s Speech, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The Queen, Godzilla). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 17. The streaming/download link will be added to this page within the next day. Unstoppable marks the directorial debut of editor William Goldenberg and stars Jharrel Jerome as Anthony Robles, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Don Cheadle and Jennifer Lopez. The movie is based on Robles’ & Austin Murphy’s book Unstoppable: From Underdog to Undefeated: How I Became a Champion and tells the story of Robles who was born with one leg but whose indomitable spirit and – with the unwavering love and support of his devoted mother and the encouragement of his coaches – fights through adversity to earn a spot on the Arizona State Wrestling team. The drama, which premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival, was released in select theaters last month by Amazon MGM Studios and is premiering today on Prime Video.
