Arthur Sharpe (Landscapers, GuiltThe Electrical Life of Louis Wain, GhostsFlowersDreamland) has composed the original music for the upcoming British Apple TV+ original series Prime Target. The show is created by Steve Thompson (Vienna Blood, Jericho) and stars Leo Woodall, Quintessa Swindell, Stephen Rea, Martha Plimpton, David Morrissey, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Harry Lloyd, Jason Flemyng, Ali Suliman, Fra Fee and Joseph Mydell. The conspiracy thriller revolves around a brilliant young math postgraduate who is on the verge of a major breakthrough, when he begins to realize an unseen enemy is trying to destroy his idea before it’s even born, which throws him into the orbit of a female NSA agent (who’s been tasked with watching mathematicians’ behavior. Thompson is also executive producing the production with New Regency & Scott Free production with Ed Rubin (The Sense of an Ending, The Woman in White), Beth Pattinson, Yariv Milchan (Blitz, The Crowded Room), Arnon Milchan (The Revenant, 12 Years a Slave), Michael Schaefer (Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Martian), Ridley Scott (Alien, Gladiator), David. W. Zucker (The Good Wife, The Man in the High Castle), Emma Broughton & Marina Brackenbury (The Beast Within), Laura Hastings-Smith (Macbeth, Hunger), as well as Brady Hood who also directed all eight episodes. Prime Target will premiere on January 22, 2025 on Apple TV+.
