Jean-Fabien Dijoud (Peshmerga) has released a soundtrack album for the French biographical sports drama Marinette. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Marinette is written and directed by Virginie Verrier and stars Garance Marillier, Émilie Dequenne, Alban Lenoir, Sylvie Testud, Fred Testot and Caroline Proust. The movie tells the story of pioneering French female soccer star Marinette Pichon and traces the athlete’s battle to earn her homeland’s respect after achieving success in the United States. The drama premiered at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival and opened in French theaters in June of 2023. No word yet on a domestic release.
