WaterTower Music has released the “trailer version” of the theme from the first teaser for James Gunn’s upcoming superhero movie Superman. The track written by the film’s composer John Murphy (28 Days Later, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Sunshine, The Suicide Squad, Smatch, Miami Vice, Kick-Ass) and using John Williams’ classic theme from Richard Donner’s 1978 feature is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Superman is written and directed by Gunn and stars David Corenswet in the dual role of Superman/Clark Kent, alongside Rachel Brosnahan (as Lois Lane) and Nicholas Hoult (as Lex Luthor), as well as Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Isabela Merced, Nathan Fillion, Skyler Gisondo, María Gabriela de Faría, Sara Sampaio, Wendell Pierce, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Alan Tudyk and Neva Howell. The movie will be released in theaters nationwide on July 11, 2025 by Warner Bros. Pictures
