Dominic Lewis (Bullet Train, The Man in the High Castle, The Fall Guy, Money Monster,The King’s Man,Spirited, Violent Night) has been tapped to score the upcoming martial arts action adventure Karate Kid: Legends. The film is directed by Jonathan Entwistle (The End of the F***ing World, I Am Not Okay with This) and stars Jackie Chan who returns as his character Mr. Han from the 2010 reboot (scored by James Horner), Ralph Macchio who reprises his role as Daniel LaRusso from the Karate Kid trilogy (scored by Bill Conti) and the Netflix series Cobra Kai (scored by Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson), as well as Ben Wang, Sadie Stanley, Joshua Jackson and Ming-Na Wen. Rob Lieber who previously scripted the Lewis-scored Peter Rabbit and Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween wrote the screenplay. Karen Rosenfelt (The Twilight Saga, Me Before You) is producing the Sunswept Entertainment production. George Drakoulias serves as the project’s music supervisor. Karate Kid: Legends will be released in theaters nationwide on May 30, 2025 by Sony Pictures.
Lewis’ other upcoming feature projects include JoJo Eusebio’s Love Hurts, which will be released in theaters on February 7, 2025 by Universal Pictures.
