Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the BBC natural history documentary series Asia. The album features the show’s original music composed by Jacob Shea (Seven Worlds One Planet, Planet Earth III, Blue Planet II) & Laurentia Editha (Island of the Sea Wolves, Alien Worlds, Growing Up Animal) for Bleeding Fingers Music. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically next Friday, December 20. The 2-CD version will be available to order as an import on Amazon within the next couple of days. Asia presented by Sir David Attenborough, executive produced by Roger Webb, produced by Matthew Wright. explores each corner of the titular continent and journeys through Asia’s most stunning landscapes, uncovering stories of extraordinary unseen animal behavior. The 7-part series premiered in the UK over the last couple of weeks on BBC One and will make its U.S. debut on January 25, 2025 on BBC America and AMC+.
