George Kallis (Cliffs of Freedom, After We Fell/ Ever Happy/Everything, The Last Warrior, First Love, The Black Prince, See You on Venus) has provided the original score for the upcoming romance Marked Men: Rule + Shaw. The film is directed by Nick Cassavetes (The Notebook, John Q) and stars Chase Stokes, Sydney Taylor, Alexander Ludwig, Ella Balinska, Matthew Noszka, Evan Mock and Natalie Alyn Lind. The movie is based on Jay Crownover’s bestselling novel Rule and centers on the relationship between a pre-med student and a rebellious tattoo artist who – after one uninhibited night – are forced to confront buried feelings while navigating grief, family expectations, and fear of commitment. Sharon Soboil wrote the screenplay. Jennifer Gibgot (Step Up, The Wedding Planner), Brian Pitt (Last Seen Alive, Beautiful Disaster), Nicolas Chartier (The Hurt Locker, Colossal), Jonathan Deckter (Aftermath, Beautiful Wedding), Josh Kesselman (The Great, For a Good Time, Call…) and J.B. Sugar (Bitten) are producing the Voltage Pictures production. Marked Men: Rule + Shaw will be released in U.S. theaters for two nights only on January 22 & 23, 2025 by Fathom Events.
