Composer Rupert Parkes (aka Photek) (How to Get Away with Murder, Station 19, Gang Related, Life in a Year, Mosul) is reteaming with director Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, The Mask of Zorro) on the upcoming action thriller Dirty Angels. The film starring Eva Green, Maria Bakalova, Ruby Rose & Jojo T. Gibbs follows an American soldier who joins an all-women commando unit to liberate a group of schoolgirls that have been taken hostage in Afghanistan by posing as members of a relief organization. Alissa Sullivan Haggis and Jonas McCord (Malice, The Body) wrote the screenplay based on a story by McCord & Campbell. Moshe Diamant (Sudden Death, The Black Dahlia), Yariv Lerner (Angel Has Fallen, Rambo: Last Blood) and Robert Van Norden (Blackbird, Jolt) are producing the Millennium Media and Nu Boyona Film Studios production. Parkes has previously scored Campbell’s last two features, The Protege and Memory. Dirty Angels will be released in select theaters and on VOD on December 13, 2024 by Lionsgate.
