WaterTower Music has released the full soundtrack album for the HBO original series The Penguin. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Mick Giacchino (The Muppets Mayhem, Extinct, Zootopia+, That Dirty Black Bag, Jim Henson’s Turkey Hollow). Also included are two songs performed by Shayna Steele. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. The label has previously released Giacchino’s main theme as a digital single in September. The Penguin is developed by Lauren LeFranc and stars Colin Farrell, Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Scott Cohen, James Madio, Clancy Brown, Michael Zegen, Theo Rossi and Carmen Ejogo. The 8-parter is set after the events of Matt Reeves’ 2022 feature The Batman and follows ruthlessly ambitious gangster Oz Cobb who – following the death of Carmine Falcone – sees an opportunity to fill the power vacuum and make his own mark in Gotham’s criminal underworld. The series premiered over the last couple of weeks and the final episode is making its debut tonight on HBO and Max.
