Recordjet has released a soundtrack album for the German documentary Riefenstahl. The album features the film’s original music composed by Freya Arde (The Hidden Life of Trees, The Corridors of Power, My Extraordinary Summer with Tess, Ever After, Almost Fly). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track below. Riefenstahl is directed by Andres Veiel and explores the life of the infamous artist, filmmaker, and propagandist Leni Riefenstahl. The movie features never-before-seen materials from her estate, including private films, photos, letters and recordings, uncovering fragments of her biography and placing them in an extended historical context. The documentary, which premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival, is opening in German theaters today and has recently been picked up by Kino Lorber for a release in the U.S. in early 2025.
