Grande Ourse has released a soundtrack album for the French adventure family drama Bambi, a Life in the Woods (Bambi, l’histoire d’une vie dans les bois). The album features the film’s original music composed by Laurent Perez Del Mar (The Red Turtle, I Kill Giants, My Son, The Mystery of Henri Pick, Zarafa, The Kitchen Brigade). Bambi, a Life in the Woods is co-written and directed by Michel Fessler and stars Mylène Farmer. The movie is based on the book of the same title by Felix Salten and follows the adventures of a young fawn, surrounded by his mother and the animals of the forest, as he discovers the world of trees and their secrets, when he gets separated from mother after he ventures out into the open. The drama just opened in French theaters last Wednesday.
