Anna Drubich (Barbarian, Fear Street Part 3: 1666, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Werewolves Within, Sting) has composed the original score for the upcoming Netflix original film Time Cut. The movie is directed by Hannah Macpherson (Sickhouse) and stars Madison Bailey, Antonia Gentry, Michael Shanks, Griffin Gluck, Rachael Crawford, Megan Best, Jordan Pettle, Samuel Braun, Kataem O’Connor and Sydney Sabiston. The sci-fi slasher film follows a teenage girl who travels back to the early 2000s to stop a vicious killer from murdering her sister. Michael Kennedy (Freaky, It’s a Wonderful Knife) co-wrote the screenplay with Macpherson based on a story by himself. Matt Kaplan (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Spontaneous) is producing the ACE Entertainment production with Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalyse/em>). Time Cut will premiere on October 30, 2024 exclusively on Netflix.
Drubich’s other recent feature projects include Shannon Triplett’s Desert Road, which premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and is currently awaiting a distribution deal.
