Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music will release the official soundtrack album for the family mystery adventure Monster Summer. The album features the film’s original music composed by Frederik Wiedmann (The Dragon Prince, Batman: Caped Crusader, Star Trek: Picard, Occupation: Rainfall, Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Doom: Annihilation, Field of Lost Shoes). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, October 4 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Monster Summer is directed by David Henrie and stars Mason Thames, Julian Lerner, Abby James Witherspoon, Nora Zehetner, Noah Cottrell, Patrick Renna, Lorraine Bracco and Mel Gibson. The movie follows a local boy and his friends who team up with a retired police detective to embark on a adventure to save their island when their summer fun gets disrupted by a mysterious force. The Nickel City Pictures & Novo Media Group production will be released in theaters on October 4 by Pastime Pictures.
