Peermusic France will release a new soundtrack album for the French 2004 musical drama The Chorus (Les Choristes) co-written and directed by Christophe Barratier and starring Gérard Jugnot, François Berléand, Kad Merad and Jean-Baptiste Maunier. The album features the newly remastered score from the film composed by Bruno Coulais (Coraline, The Crimson Rivers, Winged Migration, Wolfwalkers, Wendell & Wild, Gemma Bovery) and the choir music performed by Les Petits Chanteurs de Saint-Marc, including two new tracks: an English language version of the Academy Award-nominated song Vois sur ton chemin (Children of Oblivion), as well as an instrumental version of In Memoriam (listen to the track after the jump). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 27 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list. A CD and vinyl edition is also in the works. The Chorus is now available on DVD.
