Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the coming-of-age drama series Penelope. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, The Outsider, Speak No Evil, Enemy, The Gift, The Staircase, Boy Erased,  Fear the Walking DeadA Murder at the End of the World) with Julia Piker. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 24 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composers’ first track (Feels Free) below. Penelope is created by Mark Duplass & Mel Eslyn and stars Megan Stott, Austin Abrams, Rhenzy Feliz and Krisha Fairchild. The 8-parter follows the 16-year-old title character who is feeling out of place in modern society and gets drawn into the unknown wilderness, where she begins forming a new life for herself. The YA series premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will debut tomorrow on Netflix.
