H. Scott Salinas (A Private War, WarriorCartel Land, The Banker, Birth of the Dragon, Full Swing) has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Lucha: A Wrestling Tale. The album features the film’s original music composed by Salinas, singer/songwriter Jessica Childress who has made her feature scoring debut on the project and Tomás Videla (Superhuman Body: World of Medical Marvels). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composers’ main titles track below. Lucha: A Wrestling Tale is directed by Marco Ricci and follows four female high school students in the South Bronx whose experience on their wrestling team leads them on a journey of transformation and redemption. The documentary premiered at last year’s DOC NYC and also screened at other film festivals over the last year. No word yet on a release date for the film.
