The Foolshed has released a soundtrack album for the sci-fi romantic comedy If You Were the Last. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Bear (of the rock band Grizzly Bear) (Past Lives, High Maintenance, Mother, Couch, Swallowed, The Passenger). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Rinse and Repeat) below. If You Were the Last is directed by Kristian Mercardo and stars Anthony Mackie, Zoë Chao, Natalie Morales and Geoff Stults. The movie centers on two astronauts three years into a failed NASA mission as they begin a friendly, flirty debate about whether they’re better off spending their remaining days as friends.. The comedy premiered at last year’s SXSW Film Festival and made its streaming debut last October on Peacock.
