Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film The Deliverance. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Lucas Vidal (Fast & Furious 6, The Quiet Ones, The Raven, Welcome to Eden, Palm Trees in the Snow, The Cold Light of Day). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. The Deliverance is directed by Lee Daniels and stars Andra Day, Glenn Close, Mo’Nique, Demi Singleton, Omar Epps, Anthony B. Jenkins, Miss Lawrence, Tasha Smith, Caleb McLaughlin and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor. The supernatural horror thriller inspired by a true story of possession follows a struggling single mother who moves her family into a new mysterious home for a fresh start, but must soon face down her demons in order to save her children’s souls. The film was released in select theaters last weekend and will premiere on August 30 on Netflix.
