Dragon’s Domain Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1966 British horror cult classic Island of Terror directed by Terence Fisher and starring Peter Cushing and Edward Judd. The film’s original score written by Malcolm Lockyer (Ten Little Indians, Dr. Who and the Daleks, Night of the Big Heat, Deadlier Than the Male) is being released as part of the label’s The Golden Age of Science Fiction – Vol. 6 , which also includes the first-ever release of the music from the 1961 sci-fi movie Valley of the Dragons (written and directed by Edward Bernds based on Jules Verne’s Off on a Comet and starring Cesare Danova, Sean McClory, Joan Staley & Danielle De Metz) composed by Ruby Raksin. The label’s other new released The Paul Chihara Collection – Vol. 5 featuring the premiere of the composer’s scores for the TV movies The Bad Seed, Killer Instinct and With Intent to Kill, as well as a CD version of the soundtrack album for Bruce Malmoth’s Pentathlon featuring music by David Spear (previously released digitally).
