Hollywood Records & Marvel Music will release a soundtrack album for the first-ever interactive Disney+ original story What If…? – An Immersive Story. The album features the original music from the mixed reality experience composed by Academy Award nominee Laura Karpman (American Fiction, The Marvels, Ms. Marvel, Set It Up, Lovecraft Country, Taken, Paris Can Wait) and Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum (Stockholm, Pennsylvania, Regarding Susan Sontag, Prisoner’s DaughterBird Karma) who are also scoring the What If…? animated series. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 16 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. What If…? – An Immersive Story is written by David Dong and Phil McCarty and directed by Dave Bushore at Marvel Studios and produced by Shereif M. Fattouh at ILM Immersive. The experience, which sees users step into the leading role of a narrative-driven journey where they will meet variants from across the Multiverse, harness the power of the Infinity Stones, and be faced with reality-defining choices, premiered this past May on Apple Vision Pro as a free app for a limited time.
