Composers Brooke Blair & Will Blair (I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore, The Informer, Sweet Virginia, Black Christmas) are reteaming with director Jeremy Saulnier on the upcoming Netflix original film Rebel Ridge. The movie is written and directed by Saulnier and stars Aaron Pierre, Don Johnson, AnnaSophia Robb, Emory Cohen, David Denman, James Cromwell, Zsané Jhé, Steve Zissis and Dana Lee. The thriller follows a former Marine who confronts corruption in a small town when local law enforcement unjustly seizes the bag of cash he needs to post his cousin’s bail. Saulnier is also producing the project with Anish Savjani, Neil Kopp & Vincent Savino (First Cow, Showing Up). The Blair Brothers have previously scored director’s first four features, including Murder Party, Blue Ruin, Green Room and Hold the Dark. Rebel Ridge will premiere on September 6, 2024 on Netflix.
The composers’ other recent feature projects include Macon Blair’s The Toxic Avenger, which premiered at last year’s Fantastic Fest and is currently awaiting a release date.
