Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original series The Decameron. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Ruth Barrett (Bodyguard, Sanditon, Victoria, The Terminal List, Collateral, Harry Brown, Big Beasts, Law & Order: Organized Crime). The Decameron is created by Kathleen Jordan and stars Amar Chadha-Patel, Leila Farzad, Lou Gala, Tony Hale,Zosia Mamet, Karan Gill, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Tanya Reynolds, Douggie McMeekin and Jessica Plummer. The historical comedy is set in the Italian countryside in the year 1348 as the bubonic plague spreads through Italy and follows a group of nobles and servants as they retreat to a villa, where their lavish getaway quickly spirals into chaos. The series will premiere next Thursday, July 25, 2024 exclusively on Netflix.
