Madison Gate Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Cobra Kai. The album features selections of the original music from the first part of the show’s sixth and final season composed by Emmy Award winners Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Twisted Metal, Obliterated, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 19 by Madison Gate Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A first track (Heart of the Cobra) has already been released as a digital single last week and can be checked out after the jump. Madison Gate & La-La Land Records have previously released multiple albums featuring the composers’ score from Season 1, Season 2, Season 3, Season 4 & Season 5. Cobra Kai is written and executive produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz & Hayden Schlossberg and stars Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Xolo Maridueña, Martin Kove, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Jacob Bertrand, Peyton List, Courtney Henggeler, Gianni DeCenzo, Vanessa Rubio, Yuji Okumoto, Dallas Dupree Young, Alicia Hannah-Kim, Oona O’Brien and Griffin Santopietro. The first part of Season 6 is premiering today, with the second part scheduled to debut on November 15 and the third and final part in early 2025 on Netflix.
